Return Policy

Thank you for choosing SKOURA. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return policy below for items purchased in-store at our Tecumseh, Ontario location or via phone orders. If you purchased through a third party, please contact them directly for their return procedures.

Eligibility

  • Returns accepted within 30 days of purchase for most in-stock furniture and home décor items.

  • Items must be in new, unused condition with original packaging, accessories, and proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation, or packing slip).

  • Clearance, final sale, special-order, and custom-made items (including made-to-order custom finishes) are not eligible for return unless defective.

Defective or Damaged Items

  • Inspect all items upon delivery or pickup. Report visible damage to the delivery team or store staff immediately and note it on the delivery/pickup paperwork.

  • For concealed damage (damage discovered after delivery), contact us within 48 hours with photos and your order number so we can assess and arrange repair, replacement, or return.

  • Defective items will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion. Proof of defect and purchase will be required.

Return Process

  • Bring the item(s) and proof of purchase to SKOURA, 12150, Tecumseh Road East,Tecumseh N8N 1L9.

  • For large furniture returns or heavy items, contact the store to arrange a pickup. Pickup fees may apply.

  • All returns are subject to inspection. Refunds will be issued after approval.

Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 7–14 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

  • For gift returns, we will issue a store credit or exchange.

  • If you paid by debit/credit card and the card used is not available, refund will be issued by store credit.

Exchange

  • Exchanges are permitted for in-stock items only and subject to availability. If the replacement item costs more, you will be charged the difference. If it costs less, the difference will be refunded.

Cancellations

  • Phone and in-store orders may be cancelled free of charge within 48 hours of placement if the item has not entered the processing or delivery schedule.

  • Custom orders may not be cancelled after production has begun. Fees may apply for work already completed.

Fees

  • Restocking fee: A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply for returned furniture that is not defective, to cover inspection, handling, and repackaging costs.

  • Delivery/pickup: Delivery fees are non-refundable. If a pickup is required for a return, pickup fees may apply.

  • Return shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping on non-defective, non-warranty items unless otherwise agreed.

Warranty

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to defects as specified by the manufacturer. Warranty claims will be handled in accordance with manufacturer terms; SKOURA will assist with claims where possible.

Privacy and Documentation

  • We may retain a copy of your receipt or order documentation for record-keeping and to process returns or exchanges.

  • Personal information provided during a return will be handled in accordance with industry standard.
